Mrs. Frances Long Jolly, age 84, died Sunday, February 12, 2017, at Loris McLeod Hospital, after a brief illness.  She was the widow of the late Cheffo Jolly.  Born  January 25, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Gurthie Spivey Long and the late Issac Long, Sr.  

Mrs. Jolly is survived by:  Son, Mark (Kathy) Jolly of Nichols, SC; daughter, Karen (Donald) Grainger of Green Sea, SC; granddaughter, Kira (Jeff) Godwin of Tabor City, NC; grandson, Tim Jolly of Nichols, SC; great grandson, Jacob Godwin of Tabor City, NC; twin sister, Faye Fowler of Hope Mills, NC; brother, Elbert (Anna) Long of Tabor City, NC.  

She was preceded in death by:  Son, Cheffo Jolly, Jr.; brothers, I. B. Long, Jr, Clarence Long, and Robert Long; and sisters, Mildred Mincey, and Grace Fowler.  

Mrs. Jolly was a long time member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church where she was a former GA/ Acteen teacher.  She was retired from Horry County Public Schools.  

Visitation will be Tuesday, February, 14, 2017, from 6:00p.m.- 8:00p.m. at Meares Funeral Home in Fair Bluff, NC.    

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at 2:00p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Nichols, SC. with burial to follow in the new Mt. Olive Church Cemetery.
